Hello, I'm Inge, an illustrator from the Netherlands. I haven't been drawing all my life, and I didn't attend extensive art schools or universities. In reality, I started drawing just five years ago and taught myself how to do it. And believe me, my first attempts were far from perfect—they were, in fact, quite ugly. That's how I know that drawing is not about talent. It is just about practice. If I could learn to draw, everyone can. But, I've also come to appreciate how valuable a little guidance can be. I have no drawing experience, can I still take the course?
Absolutely! This course is suitable for both beginners and illustrators with some experience. Don't worry if you have no prior drawing experience, I start from the very beginning and guide you step by step. You will be surprised at what you can accomplish with just a few helpful tips. Furthermore, this course is designed to not only teach you how to copy but also provide you with valuable drawing skills that you can continue to develop even after the course is completed.
What materials do I need for this course?
For most of the course, all you need is simple sketching or printing paper, a pencil, and an eraser. In the bonus lesson, we will be coloring one of the characters we drew. I personally use Van Gogh watercolors and Faber Castell colored pencils for that, but feel free to use any coloring materials you prefer. A kneaded eraser might also come in handy to lighten your sketch before coloring.
Can I access the course on my tablet or phone?
Absolutely! In fact, there's even an app called "Huddle" where you can follow the course. However, a larger screen might be more convenient for you so you can clearly see what I'm drawing.
When does the course start?
All lessons will be available for you as soon as you bought the course, so you can start right away!
How much time is required for the course?
The course consists of 4 hours and 20 minutes of video content, packed with valuable tips and tricks. To fully internalize and make these skills your own, I recommend setting aside an additional 6 hours for dedicated practice.

All course lessons are accessible through an online learning platform, allowing you to learn at your own pace and convenience. So, you can watch the lessons whenever you want, and pause, replay, and review the content as often as you like.

Why is there a limited time to access the course?
I deliberately set a limited access time for the course because I truly believe it will encourage you to complete the course and get the maximum benefit from it. With courses that have unlimited access, many participants do not fully engage, and I would be disappointed if you missed out on the opportunity to improve your drawing skills. That's why I have created a timeframe that is realistic and manageable, and I am confident that if you commit to the course, you will see significant progress in your skills.
I'm worried that I won't have enough time. Can I extend the course access?
First of all, let the approaching deadline be a good motivator to make the most of your time! Procrastination often leads to missed opportunities, and that would be a shame. If you still can't finish it within the given time, you'll receive an email with an offer to extend your course access towards the end. But, I encourage you to keep working on it: you got this!
I've never taken an online course before, is this right for me?
Online courses are a fantastic way to try out new skills. They work just like an offline workshop, but with the added advantage of being able to watch over my shoulder, pause, and rewind the video as many times as you need to fully understand the material.
Can I sell the drawings I made during the course?
The course content, including the images, is protected by copyright. While you may copy the images for personal use (e.g., as homework), they cannot be used for commercial purposes. Please refer to my terms and conditions for further details. Even if you make one or two changes, it's still better to be cautious. It's natural that you'll adopt some of the style from the course, and that's completely fine. Think of it as a starting point to explore and develop your unique style!
